In 2007, we managed over 120,000 lighting columns andreplaced 20,000 life-expired columns together with similar operations to illuminated traffic signs and bollards.

Better street lighting provides an improved night time environment which helps lower the number of road accidents and reduces crime levels as well as bringing general environmental and economic benefits.

Since 2003, we have applied our roads and traffic expertise to UK street lighting and highways maintenance, and are already operating projects in Walsall, Manchester and Wakefield, as well as recently reaching preferred bidder for Surrey Street Lighting project. We also continue to bid forhighways maintenance contracts and additional street lighting projects.
